PTA Thrift Shop Work Sessions
At this time, the Chatham County Thrift Shops are open as usual and volunteers are welcomed and appreciated if you feel comfortable doing so. However, if you, or a member of your family, are ill (including, but not limited to, a cough or fever), please do not volunteer at this time. We will keep you updated on any changes made to this volunteer policy, and you can read this statement from the Thrift Shop Board for more details.
We need YOUR help to raise money for Perry Harrison School. Please consider signing up for a two hour shift at the Thrift Shop. The more volunteer hours we earn, the more money for our school!

Fuel Up Spring Break Needs
Did you know that approximately one in five PHS students were eligible for the Federal Free and Reduced Meals program last year? The Fuel Up food program provides backpacks of food to Perry Harrison students to meet their nutritional needs during weekends and breaks in the regular school year months when they don’t have access to school lunches. Fuel Up at PHS has been serving students at PHS since 2008 and we need your help! In order to provide enough food for the 11-day Spring Break for the children who participate in Fuel Up at PHS, we use our Fill-A-Bag and Fund-A-Bag programs!

Gift Card Donations for Guidance
One the best things about PHS is how we help and support each other; it truly feels like a family. Right now, we have the opportunity to help some of our Perry Harrison family.
From time to time, our PHS students have had urgent situations come up, such as needs for cold weather clothing, cleaning supplies for their homes, other home needs, etc. Mrs. Munoz would love to have Walmart and Target gift cards on hand to give to families when such needs arise. Our goal is to have $500 worth of gift cards on hand for these urgent situations. If you are able to help, send in Walmart or Target gift cards in any amount to Mrs. Munoz, or place them in her box.
Thank you! Questions? Contact Erin Smith at email@example.com.
Spare Clothes Donations for Front Office
Help us put together a small stash of clothes that the front office/school nurse can use for students who may need an emergency change of clothes during the school day. If you have a few items to donate, please drop them by the front office. All items and sizes are appreciated, including tops, bottoms, socks and underwear. Thanks!
