Current Parent Involvement Opportunities
Looking for ways to get involved at Perry Harrison? Visit this page to learn more and to sign up for current opportunities.
Daily Lunchroom Helpers
Our staff can always use an extra set of hands during lunch! It's a fun and easy way to help - assist kids with opening lunches and do light clean up as classes transition in and out of the cafeteria. Our teachers and staff will handle any disciplinary needs, you are just there to help! Please note - you must be an approved volunteer through Chatham County Schools, click here to learn more.
Find yourself free for an hour but didn't sign up? That's OK!! Just come to school when you are available, check in at the front office, then head to the cafeteria.
Thrift Shop Work Sessions
We need YOUR help to raise money for Perry Harrison School. Please consider signing up for a two hour shift at the Thrift Shop. The more volunteer hours we earn, the more money for our school!

Thrift Shop Fashion Show Planning Committee
Are you looking to be a part of the most fun school event of the holiday season? We have what you are looking for! The PTA Thrift Shop Fashion Show and Holiday Market is planned for December 12th at 6pm. We are looking for volunteers to help with planning and day of the event! We are also looking for local vendors to be part of the market.
If you are interested in being involved in any aspect, please contact Chandra at email@example.com.
Gift Card Donations for Guidance
One the best things about PHS is how we help and support each other; it truly feels like a family. Right now, we have the opportunity to help some of our Perry Harrison family.
From time to time, our PHS students have had urgent situations come up, such as needs for cold weather clothing, cleaning supplies for their homes, other home needs, etc. Mrs. Munoz would love to have Walmart and Target gift cards on hand to give to families when such needs arise. Our goal is to have $500 worth of gift cards on hand for these urgent situations. If you are able to help, send in Walmart or Target gift cards in any amount to Mrs. Munoz, or place them in her box.
Thank you! Questions? Contact Erin Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Holiday Donations for Support Staff and Specials Teachers
No question about it, we all love our Instructional Assistants, Specials Teachers and Support Staff! But sometimes, especially during the holidays, it's hard to show all that love to so many people. By pooling our resources, we are hoping to make gift giving a little easier on you, while making sure everyone receives some holiday cheer!
We've got three easy options to choose from (Flat Amount, $1 for All, and Round Up). You can donate a flat amount to specific people, or if you simply can't choose and would like to spread the love, select the '$1 For All' option and we will add a dollar to each fund! In addition, if you feel so generous, please give a few dollars to the round up fund; this allows us to round up the amounts to all recipients. Any amount, large or small, is so very appreciated - it all adds up!!
Please note - these donations are used for gifts for support staff and specials teachers. Individual class parent reps will be reaching out to their classrooms regarding gifts for grade level teachers.
Click here to donate by Friday, December 13th.
