The simple act of joining the PTA provides instant financial support for our students, teachers & school. It's also a great way to stay informed about what's happening at school & connect in meaningful ways with other parents.
Military Hero - Thank You Letters
Right before we left school in March, our students worked together to write wonderfully supportive letters and created uplifting artwork for our US deployed Military members. They also filled 20 boxes with "goodies from home" to ship with the letters. The boxes have arrived around the world and are now being enjoyed and we would love for our PHS family to see the Thank You letters that we have received in return!!

Fuel Up Summer Needs
The Fuel Up food program provides backpacks of food to Perry Harrison students to meet their nutritional needs during weekends and breaks in the regular school year months. Food is provided through donations only, no tax dollars are spent on the program. We need support in obtaining food for our students this summer. Ways you can help:
Sign up for Fund-A-Bag. $150 will feed 1 student for the summer. $30 will feed 1 student for two weeks.
Donate food to Fuel Up. Purchase shelf stable food items from Fuel Up’s Amazon wish list or other stores and mail them to the school. Please do not drop off food items at the school. Mail all food donations. Deliveries accepted Monday-Thursday ONLY!
- Participate in a neighborhood food collection site.
- Join our volunteer team for the 2020-2021 school year.

Thrift Shop Update (5/17/20)
Thank you to everyone for being patient through these unprecedented times. Our goal is to go slow and learn as much as possible about opening our stores in order to do it safely.
On June 1st, the SILER CITY STORE will open to the public. Safety measures will be in place, including limiting the number of individuals in store (employees and customers), routine cleaning, barriers, and other CDC recommendations.
This store will be used as a guide for opening the Cole Park and Pittsboro stores at a later date, as lessons are learned and changes implemented.
At this time, volunteers will NOT be allowed in the store. Store employees will have responsibility for the activities at the store.
Donation Drop Boxes boxes will remain closed - please continue to hold your donations until your Thrift Store location opens.
There are so many ways you can support the PHS community with your time and expertise! Take a minute to check out our Parent Involvement Interest Form - there really is something for everyone!
