School Beautification Committee
Schools occupy a large amount of space, and the appearance of school grounds is a significant factor in how students, visitors, and the surrounding community view the quality of education and quality of life in that area. The goal of the school beautification committee is to improve the environment in which our children learn, and to promote student pride in their school.
The committee provides an opportunity for parents and other interested community members to pitch in and help beautify the school grounds (and/or buildings) 2-3 times a year. Projects usually include spreading new mulch and pine straw, pulling weeds, bushes trimmed, new flowers planted, bird feeders filled with seed, trash pick up, and any other needed tasks, both inside and outside the school.
